Day 1.
I finally did it! It only took 3 years, 3 months and 17 days and I’m officially a Zealot. Sol burns bright on me today! As I record this transmission I’m on my way to Mercury to be indoctrinated into the Photosphere class. I’m so happy to get off of Earth, if I had to spend another day in the Megacore smog without feeling the light of Sol I might have gone insane. But no matter, I’m out now! Praise the Fire!
Day 4.
It’s everything I had dreamed it would be. Mercury is heaven on… well Mercury I suppose. Sure, the planet is a lifeless barren rock, but that simply leaves more space in the horizon for glorious Sol! Plus, you don’t really need plants or water or air when you hardly go outside at all. Why would you? The Ziggurats are so large that you’d never even want to leave. And while sometimes I think that it might be nice to feel the fresh air and wind on my face again, then I realize I don’t at all.
Day 6.
Everyone here is really, really nice, especially the Priests of the Inner Core. Sol shine on them. I’m not allowed to disagree with them which is great because they always know best. I’ve been assigned to refuel station #342 as of yesterday. If I have to refuel another Android ship I’m going to be really grateful for the Zealots and all they’ve given me. Sol burn bright!
Day 11.
I just looked back at the logs that I’ve been sending back to Earth and they’re all there. I’m certain I sent them all but now that I look back, they’re all sending perfectly. What’s even more strange is that the words in those that did send, which is all of them, are exactly like I sent them. It’s almost like the Zealots are giving me complete control over what I send out to the rest of the System. I’m really happy about it. Praise the Fire!
Day 12.
It happened again yesterday. My transmission went through but nothing was changed about it. Normal. Light upon the System!
Day 17.
Sorry for the gap in transmissions, the Priests of the Inner Core were concerned for my wellbeing so I took a few days off. They were nice enough to give me some time so that I could clear my head and continue to praise Sol in all its glory. I might have had some negative thoughts about the Zealots of Sol in the past, but they’re gone now, praise Sol. I’m so happy that they were willing to help me through these difficult times. I’ll never doubt the Zealots of Sol again, and neither should you! I’M SO HAPPY HERE ON MERCURY AND DON’T NEED ANY HELP. Long burn Sol!
